Speeding
Today, I received two speeding charges by post. Which was nice. The person convicted of driving at the highest speed in the UK is believed to be Daniel Nicks, who on his motorcycle in Buckinghamshire in 2000, filmed himself at 175 mph.
Jason McAllister was caught by police in a BMW M3 on the A90 between Aberdeen and Dundee in March travelling at 156.7 mph.
The speed reached by Andrew Osborne, 29, on his Kawasaki 1200cc motorbike in March is believed to be the fastest officially recorded in England by police. Traffic police clocked the speed of the biker overtaking a lorry at 157 mph.
Twice within 24 hours in a 50 mph zone, in my Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi Nitrous Turbo I managed a pathetic 72 mph and 79 mph. Must try harder.
1/4 mile in 3.58 seconds by Sammy Miller FFS!
