"Intelligent Design"

An enjoyable attack on "Intelligent Design" by Jon Carroll.

Amusingly (for a populist article), he refuses to even define ID [in their own words, "The theory of intelligent design (ID) holds that certain features of the universe and of living things are best explained by an intelligent cause rather than an undirected process such as natural selection."] but instead begins by correctly highlighting the fallacy of false compromise.

My argument against Creationism is that there is no evidence for it and plenty of evidence for a mutually exclusive hypothesis. Whilst the case against "Intelligent Design" is that the evidence adequately explains a simpler hypothesis. It really is that simple!
